An unusual discovery was found in the cargo section of a flight from Cuba to Miami: a human being.
The 26-year-old stowaway was found after the plane from Havana landed at Miami International Airport early Friday morning. Witnesses said they heard what sounded like a dog in the cargo hold before the man responded, noting that he was not a dog and wanted water.
Video from moments after the discovery show crew members surrounding the man on the tarmac following the Swift Air flight’s arrival.

The man was taken into custody by U.S. Customs and Border Protection, and the incident is under investigation.
The Washington Examiner reached out to Swift Air for comment but did not immediately receive a response.
