Kellyanne Conway dismisses ‘snark and bark’ from White House press corps

White House adviser Kellyanne Conway on Wednesday dismissed the media’s ongoing effort to rile up President Trump, and said it’s an attempt to make the story about themselves.

“Some people in the White House press corps do that routinely, they want to make things about them,” she said on Fox News when asked about CNN reporter Jim Acosta shouting questions at Trump and North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un.

“I’m not naming any names because why give it oxygen, but they certainly want to make it about me, myself and I,” she said.

“On Twitter, they’re all a hot mess in the kind of snark and bark towards this president and those who work for him, including here at the White House and the Cabinet and elsewhere.”

“I call it social media muscle, cable news cojones,” Conway added.

Conway said Trump went out of his way in Singapore to make make the summit about “peace and prosperity,” not himself.

“The president didn’t even make it about himself,” she said. “He made it about a process.”
