‘One of the most corrupt things’: Tucker Carlson unleashes on unsealed FBI notes about Flynn

Fox News host Tucker Carlson called newly unsealed FBI documents on the investigation into former national security adviser Michael Flynn “shocking” and “one of the most corrupt things” he’s seen “in his life.”

Carlson was joined by fellow network host Dana Perino Wednesday evening to discuss the documents between FBI agents, which showed they talked about whether the goal of their interview with Flynn was to “get him to lie so we can prosecute him or get him fired.”

“I’ve been in D.C. most of my life — in and around government and family work for the government,” Carlson said. “The idea that our top law enforcement agency would set someone up like this, so boldly … I find that really shocking.”

“This is just one of the most corrupt things I’ve ever seen in my life and one of the scariest,” he said. “How is this not a crime?”

He added, “The person who should be prosecuted is the person who decided to do this … What does this mean if they can do this to the national security adviser? What chance do the rest of us have if we somehow get crossways with the FBI?”

Perino responded, “And that is why you have such skepticism of government.”

Carlson said, “It’s pretty outrageous that a government employee can keep his identity secret … Whoever wrote this, that identity should be public right now. We should have known about this three years ago, really. It’s shocking.”
