President Trump is breaking White House confinement by flying out west. Meanwhile, Trump has harsh words for the FBI about their treatment of Michael Flynn. Finally, the Pentagon released footage of a UFO sighting. Here’s everything that happened in the Trump White House for May 4, 2020.
President Trump signaled a return to normal by announcing trips to Arizona and Ohio.
“I think I’m going to Arizona next week, and we look forward to that. And I’m going to, I hope, Ohio soon,” Trump told reporters. “And we’re going to start to move around. And hopefully, in the not too distant future, we’ll have some massive rallies, and people will be sitting next to each other.”
Trump has complained about being hunkered down in the White House, where he’s been confined since early March after trips to the CDC in Atlanta and Mar-a-Lago in southern Florida. Trump’s only trip during the coronavirus pandemic was to see off the US Naval Ship Comfort in southern Virginia.
Next, Trump had some harsh words for the FBI after documents were released about the case of Michael Flynn.
“When I look at what they did to him, they tormented him. Dirty cops tormented General Flynn. General Flynn is a fine man, 35 years or so in the military. You don’t get to be where he is by being bad.”
In the unsealed documents, an unnamed FBI official asks whether the Bureau’s goal was to get the truth from Flynn or get him to lie.
Finally, the Pentagon released video of UFO sightings.
Following the declassification of these UFO sightings by the Pentagon, President Trump told reporters, “I wonder if it’s real. That’s a hell of a video.” Makes you wonder what other information the federal government has that they’re withholding from the public.
