Sen. Ted Cruz was seen scrolling through his phone while Sen. Amy Klobuchar pressed him on the 2020 election during a Senate hearing.
“You, Sen. Cruz, not all of your colleagues here today, you were contesting the Electoral College,” Klobuchar said Tuesday during a hearing on the 2020 election and the Capitol Hill riot. “You were one of the leaders on the effort to say that the election results were not correct. And so you wonder why we want to make sure that people have the right to vote?”
However, as Klobuchar spoke, Cruz was seen swiping through his phone and not looking at the Minnesota Democrat.

The interaction came after Cruz and other Republicans vowed in January not to certify some state’s electors unless they submitted an audit of their voting records.
