Mikhail Gorbachev, the Soviet-era leader known for establishing friendly relations with the United States, is now questioning the stability of the U.S. and claiming that he knows who perpetrated the attack on the nation’s capital.
“The assault on the Capitol was evidently planned in advance, and it is clear by whom,” he told RT, Russia’s state-run media. RT, without evidence, speculated in its write-up that he was referring to the Trump administration.
