DAVIDSONVILLE, Md. (AP) — Anne Arundel County police say a motorcyclist injured in a crash with a car in Davidsonville has died.

Officers say 30-year-old Timothy Humphrey of Edgewater died Wednesday at Shock Trauma in Baltimore, where he was flown after Saturday’s accident.

Authorities say Humphrey was traveling south on Davidsonville Road when a car driven by 66-year-old Peggy Armstead Minnis of Bowie pulled from a flashing stop signal into his path.

Police say Humphrey’s motorcycle hit the driver’s side of the car, ejecting him onto the road.

Minnis and a passenger in her car suffered minor injuries.

The crash is under investigation.
