Trump teases his own book about his time in the White House

President Trump on Monday said Bob Woodward’s book about his administration is a “joke,” and said he might someday write his own book about his time in the White House to set the record straight.

“The Woodward book is a Joke – just another assault against me, in a barrage of assaults, using now disproven unnamed and anonymous sources. Many have already come forward to say the quotes by them, like the book, are fiction. Dems can’t stand losing,” Trump posted to Twitter Monday morning. “I’ll write the real book!”

Woodward’s upcoming book, “Fear: Trump in the White House,” is set to be released Tuesday, but several excerpts have already been shared from those who received advanced copies.

Last week, White House chief of staff John Kelly, Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, and Trump all claimed they had not said what Woodward quoted them as saying in his book.

Trump said the Democrats are going “crazy” because the White House is such a “smooth running machine.”

“The White House is a ‘smooth running machine.’ We are making some of the biggest and most important deals in our country’s history – with many more to come! The Dems are going crazy!” Trump tweeted.
