Pence: Expect evidence against sexual assault accusers in ‘hours’

Mike Pence said Friday that he expects Donald Trump’s campaign to release evidence against his sexual assault accusers in a matter of hours.

“Stay tuned, there’s more information coming forward,” Pence said in an interview on the “Today” show.

Trump has repeatedly said the allegations of his sexual misconduct are fabricated, and part of an effort to destroy his chances of becoming the next president in the last weeks of the election.

Several women have come forward to claim he groped them without their consent, after a 2005 video of the candidate making lewd comments about women was released last week. Pence has condemned the language in the video, but believes that the candidate is telling the truth about the most recent allegations.

“Donald Trump yesterday categorically denied that these things happened, and I believe him,” Pence said.
