President Donald Trump’s decision to speak at March for Life provides hope for the unborn child. This is the first time in history for a U.S. president to attend this annual pro-life event.
Unborn children are the most vulnerable group of human beings. They are unable to advocate for themselves, and hence others must ensure the safety and well-being of the unborn. The March for Life is a major national event that recognizes the sanctity of human life and how precious each child is. Every year, it brings hundreds of thousands of people to Washington, D.C.
With the 2020 elections for various offices just a few months away, candidates nationwide are talking about what issues matter to them most, including the discussion on how we can protect unborn children. For President Trump to speak at March of Life in person is a message to the entire country that we must unite to defend the right to life, that is in the Declaration of Independence, for everyone including the unborn. I applaud President Trump’s decision to attend March for Life.
