BOWIE, Md. (AP) — Prince George’s County Police have arrested a suspect in the fatal shooting of a man who tried to break up a fight among teenagers in a Bowie parking lot.
Police say 19-year-old Deon Eugene Warren of Upper Marlboro was arrested late Wednesday night at a motel in Anne Arundel County.
Police say Warren has been charged with first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of 39-year-old Mitchell White, who was trying to break up a fight on Tuesday at around 5:35 p.m. when he was shot. Police say White died at the scene.
Warren is being held without bond.
