Trump: Networks battling Sinclair have a ‘sick and biased agenda’

President Trump said Tuesday that the “fake news” media is attacking Sinclair Broadcasting Group for pledging to report unbiased news on local stations because the other networks were “worried about the competition.”

“The Fake News Networks, those that knowingly have a sick and biased AGENDA, are worried about the competition and quality of Sinclair Broadcast,” Trump tweeted Tuesday morning. “The “Fakers” at CNN, NBC, ABC & CBS have done so much dishonest reporting that they should only be allowed to get awards for fiction!”

Several news organizations have criticized Sinclair Broadcasting after local news anchors read a scripted prompt to their audiences. One of those networks is CNN, which Trump charged is so biased against him that no one is allowed to work there unless they pledge to fight his administration.

Trump on Monday defended Sinclair, which owns and operates almost 200 local television stations in the country, and said the broadcasting company was far superior to CNN and NBC.
