ELLICOTT CITY, Md. (AP) — An Elkridge man faces a possible 20-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to second-degree murder in the shaking death of his 6-week-old daughter.

WBFF-TV (http://bit.ly/1dpw5pt) reports that 27-year-old Aron Krampf entered the plea Tuesday in Howard County Circuit Court in Ellicott City. Sentencing is set for July 24.

Krampf was arrested in September after his daughter Aubrey died at Johns Hopkins Children’s Hospital.

Police believe Krampf shook the girl to stop her from crying. Authorities say the infant suffered brain hemorrhaging and fractures throughout her body.
