Jennifer Palmieri, President Obama’s communications director, just joined Twitter as an official White House employee.
She’s tweeted twice, so far.

White House press secretary Jay Carney announced Palmieri’s new Twitter account during Wednesday’s press briefing and urged reporters to follow her @JPalm44. Palmieri joined the White House in December 2011.
It appears Palmieri previously had a personal account she occasionally tweeted from, a total of 367 times since June 2011, with just one tweet in 2013.
It’s hard to imagine that, in this day and age, a communications director would not be proficient at Twitter, especially one working in an administration that claims to be high-tech.
