NYC man accused of fatally stabbing brother

NEW YORK (AP) — A man accused of stabbing his brother to death and injuring his mother in Queens has been arrested.

Authorities say 27-year-old Tony Glover faces charges of murder, attempted murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

New York City police say Glover stabbed his brother Victor Johnson and mother multiple times before stabbing himself in the leg on Wednesday.

The 25-year-old Johnson died of his injuries at a hospital. Glover’ 46-year-old mother was listed in stable condition.

The motive for the stabbings was not immediately known.

It was not clear if Glover had a lawyer.
