Bill Clinton heckled again by rape protester

Bill Clinton on Tuesday was heckled again by a protester who was promoting the conspiracy theory website Infowars.com, during a campaign stop in Fort Meyers, Fla.

“Bill Clinton is a rapist!” the unidentified male yelled during the former president’s address. “Infowars dot com!”

Unlike other Clinton protesters, the man who infiltrated the Tuesday rally was not wearing a shirt featuring the likeness of America’s 42nd president with the word “RAPE” printed across the front. Instead, the demonstrator was wearing a dark blue shirt that read, “Hillary for Prison.”

Clinton supporters rushed immediately to silence the demonstrator and to escort him from the venue.

“No!” Bill Clinton yelled as a supporter shoved the protester. “Don’t be like them. Give them a hand. They’ve had a bad week!”

The crowd cheered and laughed.

“They’ve had a bad week,” Clinton said again. “And look, at least somebody bought the guy a Hillary t-shirt so he could come under false pretenses.”

The demonstration Tuesday comes in a series of interruptions at Clinton rallies aimed at publicly accusing the former president of being a sexual predator.

A man wearing a shirt featuring Bill Clinton’s face and the word “RAPE” protested the Democratic nominee Monday at a rally in Detroit. Democratic vice presidential candidate Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va., was heckled at a campaign rally in Las Vegas, Nev., last week by a protester shouting, “Bill Clinton is rapist!” Bill Clinton was also heckled last week. A woman at a campaign rally in Canton, Ohio, held a sign reading, “Bill Clinton is a rapist.”

Hillary Clinton’s second run at the White House has been dogged by questions about her husband’s sex scandals from when he was president and governor of Arkansas.

GOP nominee Donald Trump has sought to make the sex scandals a major story in the 2016 presidential election.

Trump held a press conference with four women, Paula Jones, Kathleen Willey, Juanita Broaddrick and Kathy Shelton, who announced their support for the GOP nominee and recounted their charges against the Clintons. The former president has admitted in the past to engaging in extramarital affairs with multiple women, including former White House intern Monica Lewinsky and former model Gennifer Flowers. He has also been accused of sexually assaulting more than one woman, including Broaddrick and Jones.

Trump supporters, including talk radio host Alex Jones and political operative Roger Stone, have been keen to make the Clinton sex scandals a key focus of the 2016 race. To that end, Jones’ team is offering $1,000 to anyone who can get the Bill Clinton “RAPE” t-shirt on national TV for “at least five seconds.”

Jones’ conspiracy theory website, Infowars.com, sells the “RAPE” shirts. The talk radio host is also offering $5,000 to anyone who can get the “RAPE” t-shirt on national television while also yelling “Bill Clinton is a rapist!”

The rape contest has an operating budget of $100,000.
