Babs rants at Kochs, GOP presidentials, ‘It’s truly scary’

Bill and Hillary Clinton’s favorite Hollywood crooner, Barbra Streisand, is on the war path against Republican presidential and Senate candidates and even the Koch brothers.

“It’s truly scary,” she wrote in an email fundraiser for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee shown below.

Hello,

It’s me, Barbra. (Really.)

I’m passionate about politics because I believe that everyone in this country has the right to a fair shot and a decent standard of living.

But all the Republicans I see in the news don’t seem to agree — all they care about is limiting women’s choices and making the rich ever richer.

After watching the alternative reality in the GOP Presidential debates, the only thing scarier to me than having one of them in the White House is a Senate stacked with Republicans rubber-stamping every move.

I know the election seems far away, but it’s closer than you think. The Koch brothers and other right-wing funders are investing right this minute in taking over the White House and filling the Senate with people who work for them.

We can’t wait another day to fight back. So I’m asking for a favor: Will you make a donation to the DSCC right now?

Unlike the GOP, I’m interested in electing people who work for all Americans. People like Senator Patty Murray, the working families champion from Washington State, and Senator Michael Bennet, our guy in Colorado who’s already facing brutal GOP attacks.

And there are some exciting new faces — like Nevada’s bold former Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto, and veteran Tammy Duckworth in Illinois.

We have to give these candidates the strongest chance possible.

Are you with me? Will you donate to the DSCC to help them find, support, and elect the leaders of tomorrow?

I appreciate your help. It’s standing together with millions of people like you that makes me proud to call myself a Democrat.

Best, Barbra
