Donald Trump defended himself during Wednesday’s debate against allegations from nine women accusing him of groping or sexually assaulting them, by saying he didn’t know the women involved.
Trump repeated his claim that the Clinton campaign was behind the women who made the accusations following the second presidential debate, where he said he never sexually assaulted anyone.

“First of all, those stories have been largely debunked. Those people — I don’t know those people. I have a feeling how those people came. I believe it was her campaign that did it,” Trump said. “She’s the one, and Obama, who caused it.”
Trump went on to say that he didn’t even apologize to his wife in the wake of the accusations because he “didn’t do anything” to his accusers.
“Those stories are all totally false,” Trump said. “I didn’t even apologize to my wife, who’s sitting right here, because I didn’t do anything. I didn’t know any of these women. I didn’t see these women. These women… I think they want either fame or her campaign did it. I think it’s her campaign.”
The comments came almost two weeks after a leaked video emerged showing Trump making lewd remarks about women on a hot microphone in 2005.
