Three people were killed and four were injured in a fire at a Lorton townhouse Wednesday morning.
The fire broke out at about 8:30 a.m. at a home on the 9600 block of Hagel Circle, said Renee Stilwell, spokeswoman for Fairfax County Fire and Rescue.
Two children and one adult were killed, she said. Three children and one adult were hurt and taken to the Washington Hospital Center.
It took firefighters 90 minutes to extinguish the blaze, Stilwell said.
The cause of the fire isn’t known yet.
