Going cashless: Hersheypark prepares to reopen in April

When Hersheypark, located in Hershey, Pennsylvania, reopens next month, it will no longer accept cash.

The theme park said it will only accept “major credit cards, debit cards, Hersheypark gift cards, as well as Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and Google Pay.”

For those who bring cash, there will be “Cash-to-Card” kiosks located throughout Hersheypark.

“There is no fee to load cash onto a card at these kiosks,” Hersheypark said. “For games, you will need to purchase a separate Gaming Card at gaming locations, which you can load via cashless payment.”

Hersheypark is set to reopen on April 2. The park also announced that face masks will not be required inside the park.
