Depp created the account following the conclusion of his defamation trial against ex-wife Amber Heard last week. The actor was awarded $15 million in damages after the jury found Heard defamed him in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed in which she described herself as a domestic violence victim.
During the trial, Depp fans took to social media offering overwhelming support for the actor. The hashtag #JusticeForJohnnyDepp has reportedly received around 33 billion views on TikTok, while #JusticeForAmberHeard received around 86 million.

In addition to awarding Depp compensatory and punitive damages, the jury also found that Depp defamed Heard regarding a statement made by his former lawyer, Adam Waldman.
Heard was subsequently awarded $2 million in damages. However, the jury did not find two other statements presented by the actress’s suit to be defamatory.
Heard’s lawyer, Elaine Bredehoft, said the actress plans to appeal.
