Sheetz announced that its gas stations will lower diesel prices for the month of September to show its support for truck drivers.
Throughout the rest of the month, all Sheetz locations will lower diesel prices to $4.49, according to a report.
“Truck drivers are the backbone of this country,” Sheetz President and CEO Travis Sheetz said.

Sheetz noted that his company began lowering prices Monday in honor of National Truck Driver Appreciation Week.
“As a company, we are committed to showing appreciation for our customers,” Sheetz said. “We wanted to go above and beyond for Truck Driver Appreciation Week by providing extended offers that will be unquestionably beneficial to them.”

As part of National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, all truck drivers will also be offered a free meal through the Sheetz mobile app.
