It works according to a simple premise: Cuban’s operation buys the drugs from their generic manufacturers and adds 15% to pay for its operations, along with a $3 dispensing fee charged by its pharmacy partner. The method results in lower prices for many generic pharmaceuticals than many individuals pay at their local pharmacy.
