Carjacking suspect takes off with victim’s vehicle and pants

Maryland police are looking for a homeless man they claim stole a man’s car as well as his pants outside a hospital Wednesday afternoon.

Officers were called to Baltimore Washington Medical Center after staff reported a mental health patient had walked out of the facility while still under the care and custody of medical personnel.

As police were investigating the incident, the suspect, identified as 33-year-old Brian Terince Nesbitt, walked over to the hospital parking garage, where he spotted a person eating lunch in a car. Police said Nesbitt opened the door, got into the vehicle, and demanded the victim “get [him] out of here.”

The victim, who was not identified, drove Nesbitt to a nearby building at which point Nesbitt demanded the victim hand over his pants so he could change out of his hospital gown.

Once the victim complied, Nesbitt drove off in his silver four-door Toyota.

Authorities told local media outlets they believe Nesbitt is somewhere in Baltimore.
