All Laken Riley wanted to do was go for a jog on Feb. 22 on her college campus. The nursing student thought she would be returning safe and sound to her college apartment after a brief run. However, Jose Antonio Ibarra, an illegal immigrant from Venezuela, had other ideas. Laken Riley’s death was the direct result of the Biden administration’s systemic failure to achieve border security. And, given that Democrats established a precedent of honoring those who they believed died due to systemic failures, we should all be asking one question: When is “Laken Riley’s Life Matters Plaza” going up in Washington, D.C.?
Biden and the Democrats did everything possible to invite millions of illegal immigrants into the country — many of whom have criminal records. They deliberately failed to protect Americans like Laken Riley because they prioritized pushing extremist political agendas. Laken Riley’s life doesn’t matter to President Joe Biden or any Democrat. They would rather ignore her life altogether. Acknowledging that her life mattered — and her unnecessary and preventable murder — means they would have to admit their failures in protecting Americans, and that is something they do not have the integrity to do.
If President Joe Biden and the Democrats had done their job, or actually believed in the empathy and dignity that Biden doesn’t stop talking about, Laken Riley would still be alive today. Democrats are too afraid to say Laken Riley’s name — or say it correctly, in Biden’s case — but their attempt to ignore her tragic death and sweep it under the rug should not go unnoticed. They prefer to play propaganda games while their immigration policies get innocent college females murdered.
So, we should all ask when the “Laken Riley’s Life Matters Plaza” will be going up in Washington, D.C.
If criminals who resist arrest and die in police custody lead to the nation’s capital renaming a section of a street after an insurrectionist movement and a corrupt money laundering organization, then it only makes sense that the tragic murder of Riley, due to the systemic and institutional failures of Biden and the Democrats, results in a similar honor. After all, the contrast couldn’t be clearer. Laken Riley was a nursing student pursuing a career dedicated to serving and helping others. And, unlike the “martyrs” of Black Lives Matter, Laken Riley didn’t commit any crime; she was the victim of one.

So, in the interest of fairness and justice, we should all ask when the “Laken Riley’s Life Matters Plaza” is going up in Washington, D.C.
Biden and the Democrats can no longer be trusted to protect the people of this country. They have shown that the only lives that matter to them are the ones they can use for political gain. They don’t care about truth or fact or the lives lost due to their failures. All they care about is pursuing power and advancing the radical and extremist political agendas that have repeatedly endangered the lives of Americans.
It’s time for this to stop and for Washington, D.C., to construct “Laken Riley’s Life Matters Plaza.”
