Fauci: It’s ‘possible’ mask guidance could last into 2022

The nation’s leading infectious disease expert, Dr. Anthony Fauci, said it is “possible” people could wear masks to protect against COVID-19 through 2022, saying, “We don’t know.”

“The president said it very well at the very end of his press conference when he was in Michigan at the Pfizer plant, he said, ‘You know, you ask me to make projections,’ these are just projections that are estimates,” Fauci told CNN on Sunday. “A lot of things can happen to modify that.”
