RFK Jr. embraces far Left with no-name vice presidential pick

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced his vice presidential running mate on Tuesday, and while you can be easily forgiven for not knowing the name Nicole Shanahan, the selection is one that is a clear nod to Kennedy’s left-wing roots.

Shanahan is a wealthy lawyer from the liberal hub of San Francisco, California, who, according to Kennedy’s campaign site, has worked “on behalf of honest governance, racial equality, regenerative agriculture, and children’s and maternal health.”
