Roland Park won five of eight races en route to capturing its fifth consecutive Baltimore High School Championship Regatta title Sunday along the Middle Branch River.
Roland Park finished with 44 points by winning the, novice 4, junior varsity 8, junior varsity 4, varsity lightweight 8 and varsity lightweight 4 races.
“I felt we did an excellent job and really showed our depth,” Roland Park coach David Rosen said. “You are not going to win a championship by having just one strong boat.”
St. Paul?swas the only other school to win a race as it captured the novice 8, varsity 4 and varsity 8 races to finish in second place with 18 points. Other finishers Sunday included third-place Bryn Mawr (4), followed by Notre Dame Prep (3) and the Institute of Notre Dame (2).
