Vice President Kamala Harris seems to be on her way to being the next presumptive Democratic nominee for the 2024 presidential election. Multiple reports revealed the vice president has gained enough support from delegates in her party to become the nominee. 

Multiple state delegations met Monday evening throughout the country to confirm their support for Harris. By nightfall, it was believed that Harris had received support from more than the necessary 1,976 delegates she needed to be victorious on the eventual first ballot and earn the party’s nomination, the Associated Press reported.
