The Democratic National Convention is tapping into the party’s star power, bringing in several celebrities to make appearances and conduct events throughout the week.

Actor Tony Goldwyn, commentator Ana Navarro, actress Mindy Kaling, and actress Kerry Washington will host different nights of the event, in that order, CNN reported. They will serve a role similar to an award show, giving opening remarks and then reappearing onstage throughout.
