Harris paused for a few minutes while protesters interrupted her during a speech at Compassion Ministries in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Sunday morning.

“That’s why we fight for our democracy, every voice is important,” Harris said while people were shouting.

It was unclear what they were shouting for.

Harris is going on a tour around Pennsylvania, visiting black and Latino areas Sunday. She will also stop at a barbershop and a Puerto Rican restaurant.
