“Harambull”: Bull shot and killed in Philly, Internet weeps

Harambe just found his new best friend in heaven, Harambull.

On Tuesday afternoon, a bull seen wandering around the streets of Philadelphia was shot and killed by a Philadelphia Game Commission officer, confirmed by police.

Officer Jerry Czech of the Pennsylvania Game Commission used a 12-gauge shotgun and shot the bull three times. He called the incident “an extreme situation, emergency situation.” He added that the additional shots were fired as a precautionary measure, given that the animal was “potentially dangerous.”

According to the Philly Voice:

The animal reportedly escaped from the back of a truck en route to a halal slaughterhouse at 162 Lehigh Ave. in West Kensington when it broke a barricade on the truck and ran three miles. Its trek included running along the shoulder of I-95 near SugarHouse Casino.

It didn’t take long for Harambull, who is resting forever in the eternal grace of our Lord, to become a trending topic on Twitter.

It was a complete WTF moment for the city of Philadelphia, which also held clashes between Democracy Spring protesters against the DNC during the Democratic National Convention in July.

Here’s a reaction video to Harambull running around the streets of brotherly love:

…no bullshit
