Accused UnitedHealthcare CEO murder suspect to receive nearly $300,000 in donations

Luigi Mangione, the suspect accused of killing UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson last year, will now be using nearly $290,000 in donations to help the legal defense in his murder case.

A group of volunteers created the December 4 [D4] Legal Committee to support Mangione. It has garnered a following from those who felt he was sending a message to the healthcare insurance industry by shooting Thompson, a married father of two, in Manhattan.
