The Senate is voting on Kash Patel to lead the Federal Bureau of Investigation at 1:45 p.m.

As a Trump loyalist, Patel’s nomination has been highly critical of the agency being weaponized against President Donald Trump. The president has suggested agents that investigated the January 6 Capitol riot will be fired.
