U.S. Attorney Ronald C. Machen Jr. is hosting a public safety forum for African immigrants in the District on Wednesday.
The forum, called “One City, Safey City,” will provide an opportunity to offer guidance to the public about the criminal justice system in D.C. The program will include information about what happens after a crime is committed, avoiding becoming a victim, domestic violence and immigration issues.
The event, co-hosted with the D.C. Office of African Affairs, is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Frank D. Reeves Center, at 2000 14th Street NW. The forum is the latest in a series of community events hosted by Machen.
Anyone with information can call the U.S. Attorney’s office at (202) 252-6930 or e-mailing the organizers at [email protected].
