Jessica Aber, the former U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, was found dead at her home on Saturday, police announced.

In a statement, the Alexandria Police Department said Aber, 43, was found after responding to a report of an unresponsive woman at 9:18 a.m. on Saturday. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner of Virginia will determine the cause of death.
