Much like the run-up to the “Real World” cast members’ landing, Washington has marked the arrival of “Top Chef” with a flurry of speculation and online activity.
Food blogger Metrocurean wrote Monday the cast had officially arrived, pointing out “Top Chef” host Tom Colicchio had Tweeted that filming would begin that day. (One snag — his Twitter account isn’t yet verified). And much like online fans stalking the “Real World” kids, a fan already created an unofficial Twitter feed for the show: topchefdcnews.
We hear the chefs spent day one filming at the Newseum, but our Newseum source stayed tight-lipped. “I can’t confirm or deny anything,” a spokesman told Yeas & Nays.
