Bernie Sanders has revealed himself to be an “obedient little party guy” who acts at the behest of the elite, Tucker Carlson said Tuesday.
Speaking on “Fox and Friends,” Carlson said of Sanders’ supporters, “A lot of them are sincere ideologues whom I disagree with but respect for their sincerity.
“Bernie is not among them,” he added. “Bernie Sanders turned out not to be a revolutionary but an obedient little party guy who does what he’s told. How sad was that?

“I think he betrayed the ideals of the people who supported him and revealed himself not to be a free thinker or someone bigger than politics, but just a puppet of people in power,” Carlson said.
Sanders has been working to quiet his supporters at the Democratic National Convention this week in order to line them up behind Hillary Clinton, though his efforts have been largely unsuccessful. The disruptive delegates have heckled speakers who call for party unity and are seeking to block Clinton’s choice of a running mate, Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine.
