June’s Supplemental Security Income payment, worth up to $967, will go out to millions of beneficiaries today.
The amount received depends on several factors, including the number of people filing. Applicants filing as individuals can receive up to $967 per month, couples filing together can receive up to $1,450, and essential persons who provide SSI recipients with necessary care can receive up to $484. Inflation has caused these amounts to increase by 2.5% since last year.
