A Virginia man has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with a Laurel shooting death.

Prince George’s County police said officers responded to the 10100 block of Bignonia Drive for a report of a shooting at about 1 p.m. Saturday, and found 52-year-old Glenn Herzog dead from gunshot wounds.

Police suspected one of Herzog’s acquaintances in the death, and 56-year-old Jack Rosenberg, of Warrenton, turned himself into police Saturday evening.

An argument between the two men escalated into the killing, police said.
