Seth Meyers is really upset that former Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R) might not be invited to the first Republican debate.
The host of Late Night gave his case for including Perry in a segment of Monday’s show called “Free Rick Perry.”
Meyers played a video from the 2012 election where Perry failed to remember the name of the third federal agency he’d like to abolish and said “I can’t. Oops.”
“You don’t want him at your debate?” Meyers asked enthusiastically. “He’s the comic relief, would you have liked Family Matters more if it didn’t have Urkel?”
The host played another clip of Perry telling a reporter, “Adios mofo.”
“You don’t want the ‘Adios mofo’ guy at the debate?!? You should, especially since the debate is inviting actually mofos,” Meyers said, showing a picture of Donald Trump.
