YouTubers release children’s book warning about critical race theory

Conservative comedians and YouTubers Keith and Kevin Hodge, also known as the Hodge Twins, released a children’s book Tuesday warning children about critical race theory.

The book, More than Spots & Stripes, is about a spotted cheetah named Rebel who is training to win a race. He encounters an older cheetah named Bella, who convinces the spotted cheetahs that the race is rigged by the striped cheetahs.

“Will the racers let this flawed ideology divide them or will they overcome it to successfully race as one again?” reads the book’s description.

The book’s authors tweeted a promotion for the book, telling parents the importance of alternative children’s content.

“Critical Race Theory is brainwashing our kids & turning them into racists. As parents, we cannot allow the Left to continue pushing this racist propaganda onto our children,” the Hodge Twins tweeted. “It’s time to fight back.”

Educators target children when they are at a vulnerable and impressionable age with critical race theory ideas, they said, speculating about what would have happened to them if they were introduced to critical race theory at a young age.

“We wouldn’t have even tried,” they said. “We would have believed the system was out to get us, and we would have just given up.”
