Former Presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton may have been “brothers from another mother” on social media this week, but Bush’s prediction about 2016 might challenge that status.
Bush appeared on “Hannity” Thursday night for an extended interview and he spoke about the upcoming presidential race. Both Clinton’s wife, Hillary, and Bush’s brother, Jeb, have been batted around as likely candidates.
“Bill and I are going to have to have some interesting things to talk about,” Bush said. “Look, I’ll still like him when Jeb beats Hillary.”
After Hannity took that as a sign that Jeb Bush would definitely be running — something Jeb himself has not yet declared — Bush added, “If Jeb runs.”
“Look, I don’t know if he’s going to run. I really don’t,” Bush said. “I hope he does because he’d be a great president.”
