Cal-Maine to buy Pilgrim’s Pride egg operations

JACKSON, Miss. (AP) — Egg producer Cal-Maine Foods says it will buy two Texas plants from Pilgrim’s Pride Corp.

Terms were not disclosed. The sale is expected to close in August.
