Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross has been hospitalized for “minor, non-coronavirus related issues,” according to his spokesman.
Ross, 82, is “is doing well and we anticipate his release soon,” his spokesman said Saturday evening. He was not feeling well and went to a hospital in upstate New York on Friday night, sources told Fox News.
No other details were immediately available.
Ross, a former banker and private equity investor, has served as President Trump’s commerce secretary since February 2017.
