The Democrats have never been more dangerous than they are right now. It isn’t just that they felt the need to re-cancel Charlie Kirk after his brutal assassination, or that they delighted in celebrating his death, then pretended they were the victims when some of them lost their jobs. It isn’t just that they ignore or justify violence when it comes from their own side, or what they’ve done to the minds and bodies of children over the past 15 years, or that they’ve gutted a once thriving culture and destroyed our public schools and universities.
It’s that they haven’t learned the lesson in 10 years. They didn’t learn it in 2016, when a populist uprising unseated the ruling class because it wasn’t meeting the people’s practical needs. They didn’t learn it in 2020, when the Biden administration wasted four years in power to show the public that the Democrats were the better side. Instead, then-President Joe Biden used that time to weaponize the Department of Justice and persecute his political enemies, including Donald Trump.
TRUMP’S AMBITIOUS GAZA PEACE PLAN IS FRAUGHT WITH COMPLEXITY
Biden needed Trump to deflect from his failures, from the botched exit from Afghanistan that would spark two wars that are still raging today, to the fanaticism that had overtaken his party, which led to a topless transgender influencer bouncing fake breasts on the lawn of the White House.
As long as Trump was waiting on the other side, Democrats could keep scaring voters to the polls, with the help of the legacy media functioning as propaganda. Sooner or later, as more people realized that it was all a mass delusion, Democrats would see their supporters fleeing in large numbers, especially young men.
Trump’s rise was a direct response to the oppressive culture liberals built. Their powerful coalition includes all of Hollywood, all legacy media, and nearly all institutions and corporations. Trump, meanwhile, had a grassroots movement among the working class that the Democrats abandoned.
Trump’s win in 2016 disrupted their carefully designed diorama where everyone got a seat at the table and the white male patriarchy had been vanquished. Not only had a white man won, but he said whatever he wanted. He laughed in their faces. He mocked the powerful.
Liberals could not accept that Hillary Clinton lost because of their failures, of her inability to connect. It had to be racism that drove Trump’s win, and racism that sparked this populist uprising. Racism became the existential crisis that would permit Democrats to go to war on the working class.
Because liberals had so much power, they could manifest a “whole of society” approach to eradicate the “disease” of whiteness. That is why Trump won, they told themselves.
Ten years later, they still believe that. “Charlie Kirk was a racist,” they say, canceling him even in death.
The Democrats have no way out. They have successfully silenced all internal dissent. They trust the magic mirror that the legacy media have become and lack the courage to confront the fanaticism that has overtaken the party. They have no choice but to keep fighting their imaginary war with a fictitious enemy they invented.
Democrats do not have anything to sell the public. They have no vision, plan, or hope. Their party leaders now are Zohran Mamdani and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), who have transformed their fanaticism into a platform. Now, Democrats have no choice but to follow them.
All they know is fury, the blinding, all-consuming hatred that seeks the total destruction of their enemy. That’s why they craved the raid of Mar-a-Lago, the mug shot, and even the bullet that almost killed Trump in Butler. The assassination of Kirk brought deep satisfaction to many of them. That is the answer to what ails them, even if they can’t admit it as the “lawn sign people.” They have to pretend they’re still the good guys.
I had no choice but to leave the movement I helped build, even if it came at a great cost to my friendships, online presence, business, and income. I didn’t know this about myself until I was confronted with a choice. Go along with it or say something.
I tried to warn them back in 2019. Not only wouldn’t they listen to me, but I was demonized and called a “racist” and a “white supremacist,” among other things. Even now, they casually and routinely call me a “bigot,” or whatever other insult they can pull out of their arsenal.
The truth is that Democrats have become everything they pretend to fight against. They are the side that mandates thought and speech, silencing dissent. They are the side whose people are afraid to say what they really think.
Otherwise, an entire ecosystem of free thought would not have bloomed outside the culture they control. People like me would not have left the party, and they would not be struggling now to win back voters. For five years, I’ve been waiting for them to get a grip, for sanity to return. But every day, it just gets worse as the legacy media feed them their “two minutes of hate,” which only keeps them trapped inside their Doomsday Cult.
I used to believe only the Democratic Party could save this country. I used to believe that we were the good guys, that we were the side that stood up for free speech, for artistic expression, and for decency. Maybe they were once, a long time ago. But whatever the Democratic Party used to be no longer exists. They destroyed themselves trying to destroy Trump, and now, there is nothing left but a grease stain.
LIVE UPDATES: GOVERNMENT ENTERS SHUTDOWN WITH NO DEAL IN SIGHT
The answer was always simple: offer the people something better. Democrats couldn’t do that. All they could do was cling to the past, to the once-mighty empire, one that was now in collapse. They left reasonable people no choice but to vote them out and keep them out.
It’s bad enough that thousands of children will now have to live with mutilated bodies and sterilization because adults had no courage to stand up for them. It’s bad enough that whole generations will now have to try to survive the indoctrination that decides their worth on their skin color and gender identity. Help will have come too late for many of them. But we have to start somewhere.
