White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller laughed off Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez‘s (D-NY) suggestion that her supporters should “laugh at” him.
Ocasio-Cortez railed against Miller during an Instagram livestream on Sunday that had 4,000 viewers. While the viewers commented in real time to express they were “scared,” Ocasio-Cortez recommended that they start mocking the Trump administration, namely Miller.
“Stephen Miller is a clown. I’ve never seen that guy in real life, but he looks like he’s like 4’10”. He looks like he is angry about the fact that he’s 4’10”. He looks like he is so mad that he is 4’10” that he’s taking that anger out at any other population possible,” she said.
“Like, laugh at them. Laugh at them,” Ocasio-Cortez said.
Miller watched the clip on Fox News’s The Ingraham Angle on Monday night and stifled a smile.
“Well, we knew that her brain didn’t work; now we know her eyes don’t work. She is just a mess, right? A train wreck,” Miller said.
On X on Monday night, Ocasio-Cortez shared the segment from Fox News.
“I cannot believe they aired this and made him listen to it live,” she wrote with a laughing emoji. “I am crying.”
According to Miller, the more airtime Ocasio-Cortez receives, the better off the Republican Party is.
“I think the important point is that every time she is on TV, Republican approval ratings go up, Democratic approval ratings go down,” he said. “That lady is a walking nightmare.”

When host Laura Ingraham asked Miller his true height, Miller laughed and responded that he is 5 feet 10 inches.
In July, a National Public Radio-Public Broadcasting Service News-Marist poll found that 36% of registered voters approved of the job that congressional Republicans are doing in office, a 10 percentage point increase from the year before and the highest approval rating since the pollsters first asked the question in 2011.

Meanwhile, Ocasio-Cortez is touring the country on her “Fighting Oligarchy” campaign alongside Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT).
Ocasio-Cortez enjoys a popularity of her own as she is the top campaign fundraiser in the House as of July, when her war chest was $15.4 million.
