Sanders’ fans are ‘feeling the Bern,’ dropping like flies

Across the country, people are beginning to “Feel the Bern,” a catchphrase embraced by Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders. Now, some people can’t handle the heat.

Video captured Wednesday shows the Vermont senator halting a press conference to rush to the add of a man who collapsed on stage. After lying there for a few moments, he was helped up and able to walk out of the room, reported a journalist from NBC News on social media.

This isn’t the first time somebody has passed out in the presence of the self-proclaimed socialist who consistently gathers immense crowds at his rallies. In January, a woman fainted during Sanders’ rally in Alabama. Sanders put the event on hold for several minutes until the woman was able to get up and walk out with some assistance.

“Thank you all very much for you patience,” said Sanders as he got the event started again. “Now let me say this, it is very hot in here,” he added, as he used the incident to segue to the issue of health care.
