United Airlines announced on Thursday that it will join a group of airliners requiring passengers from the United Kingdom to provide proof of a negative coronavirus test within three days of departure.
United joins Delta Air Lines, Virgin, and British Airways in adopting a policy that is aimed at slowing the spread of the coronavirus following reports of a new mutation of the disease in the U.K. that is spreading at a quick pace and worrying health officials.
