A 29-year-old man was killed and another man was wounded in a double shooting in Manassas.

Prince William County police said officers responded to a report of shots fired near Emerald Drive and Stonington Lane at about 9:15 p.m. Thursday. Police found William H. Welch III, of Leesburg, dead from gunshot wounds to the upper body.
